At an event in Moscow organized by the GAC brand, the GAC Empow model was presented, which belongs to the C-segment (although Chinese manufacturers classify it as D-segment).
The car’s length is 4.7 meters, and it will be available in two versions: the standard GS and the sportier GL. The sport version stands out with aggressive bumpers, aerodynamic elements, dual exhaust pipes, 18-inch wheels, and a small trunk spoiler. In the top trim, the sedan features an adjustable-volume exhaust system, recalibrated transmission, and steering for more precise response. The car has a length of 4700 mm and a wheelbase of 2736 mm, providing a spacious interior and dynamic performance.
Under the hood is a 1.5-liter gasoline engine producing 170 hp, paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 6.95 seconds.
Key feature: the climate control unit is operated via physical buttons, which is now considered a sign of quality and prestige.
Car prices have not yet been announced and will be revealed on March 24.
