Geely has officially unveiled the new Monjaro. Not the regular one – the hybrid version (i-HEV). The main highlight isn't even the design – it's how much it drinks.
Fuel consumption – 4.75 L/100 km under WLTC cycle.
The car features:
– 1.5-liter turbo engine with 161 hp (thermal efficiency – 48.4%);
– First electric motor on the crankshaft acting as a generator;
– Second electric motor delivering 228 hp to the wheels.
Front-wheel drive only. On electric power alone, the Monjaro can run up to 66 km/h with the internal combustion engine completely off.
Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h – 8.3 seconds, top speed – 180 km/h.
